Supreme Court of Denmark

Visiting the Court

Guided tours and/or attending an oral hearing

On application, the Supreme Court arranges guided tours for groups which include an introduction to the history and activities of the Court. Applications should be sent to Post@Hoejesteret.dk. Please write "Visit to the Supreme Court" in the Subject field.

Unfortunately, due to a shortage of resources, it is not possible to respond favourably to all requests for tours, and some applicants will be suggested a visit to the Supreme Court during "Kulturnatten" in October. "Kulturnatten" - the Night of Culture - is an annual event where more than 200 museums, churches, exhibition halls, galleries, political institutions, and many other institutions representing art and culture will keep their doors open during the evening. This night the Supreme Court is open 18:00-23:00, and it is possible, on a first-come first-serve basis, to attend guided tours including a short introduction to the history and activities of the Court. It is recommended to arrive early.
